Rental Terms and Conditions

Eligibility to Rent

  • The individual signing the rental agreement is fully responsible for the rented item(s).

Rental Period

  • The rental period begins on the agreed start date and time and ends on the agreed return date and time.
  • Late returns may result in additional charges unless prior arrangements are approved by LCOARental.

Payments & Fees

  • A deposit must be paid to secure and booked the items (s) required. Remaining payment must be made before the time of pickup/delivery.
  • Additional fees will apply for late returns, damages, or loss unless otherwise stated by LCOARental.
  • If our delivery and retrieval personnel must wait due to delays during delivery or retrieval, additional waiting-time fees may apply and will be billed to the customer.

Security Deposits

  • A security deposit may be required for certain rentals.
  • Deposits will be refunded with 48 hours after the item (s) is returned in acceptable condition, minus any applicable charges.

Use of Rental Items

  • The Renter agrees not to modify or misuse use of the item.
  • The Renter is responsible for ensuring safe and proper use at all times.

Damage, Loss, or Theft

  • The Renter is responsible for any damage, loss, or theft during the rental period.
  • Repair or replacement costs will be charged if items are returned damaged or not returned at all.

Maintenance & Condition

  • All rental items are provided in clean, functional condition.
  • Normal wear and tear is acceptable; excessive wear is not.

Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellation policies may vary depending on the item rented.
  • Cancellation of any item within 48 hours of scheduled delivery or of picking up of the order will result in a 30% cancellation fee.
  • Cancellation of entire order must be done within 2 weeks prior to event date or a cancellation fee of 60% of entire deposit will be forfeited.
  • No-shows may result in forfeiture of payment or deposit.

Liability

  • LCOARental is not responsible for injuries, accidents, or damages arising from the use of rental items.

Termination of Rental

  • LCOARentals reserves the right to terminate a rental if terms are violated.
  • Refunds are not guaranteed to be issued for terminated rentals due to misuse or policy violations.
